b2match is a customisable event networking platform that covers all aspects of any matchmaking or networking event. Organisers can manage and organise in-person, virtual or hybrid events. The goal was to make a complete redesign of the application: redefine and reconstruct the user experience and user flow, make a meaningful strategy about accessibility, create design system, and additionally design and construct new functional and interactive elements.
The creation of the design system was started with the vision that it would contain the complete anatomy of the product, that it would enable more efficient resolution of all future interruptions in interaction, and that it would enable the fundamental formation of new functionalities. Since the final number of components is measured in the hundreds, only a part will be shown mainly for the presentation of its structure: (1) design system elements as the smallest visible units of the interface (typography, colors, buttons, avatars, input fields, selectors, links, dropdown lists and the like), (2) user interface blocks where there are more complex interactive groups composed of elements of the design system (tabs, panels, navigation, modals, notifications) and (3) composed layouts where all interface pages are found in all their possible variations .
